Delivery
At Table in Motion, every table is made to measure in Canada and then delivered to your practice via a rigorous logistics process. We support you every step of the way to ensure that your equipment is received in the best possible conditions and with complete transparency.
Carefully managed delivery, from manufacture to your practice
Each table is made to order according to your specifications. This enables us to provide you with equipment that is truly tailored to your needs, whilst maintaining a high standard of quality and finish. Once production is complete, the table is dispatched from Canada, inspected on arrival, and then forwarded to your delivery address.
Two delivery options
Standard delivery
The table will be delivered to your address, at the foot of the building or onto the pavement, depending on the accessibility of the location. In this case, you will be responsible for carrying it into your practice.
The parcel is dispatched on a pallet, in a box weighing approximately 180 kg. It is therefore essential to plan ahead for the handling of the table to ensure it is brought into your premises safely.
You will need to make several arrangements on your own.
- Two or three people to help with the loading and unloading
- A moving board or equivalent equipment
- A preliminary check of passageways, doors, corridors, lifts and staircases
- Unobstructed access to the room you are heading for
Turnkey delivery
As an optional extra, Table in Motion can arrange for the product to be delivered and installed directly at your practice, in the room of your choice. This solution makes the handover process more convenient and minimises the logistical burden on your part.
The exact cost of the service depends on the layout of the premises and the accessibility of the practice.
The advantages of this option:
- Handling managed by dedicated, professional staff
- Delivery straight to the room of your choice
- A more convenient way to handle heavy and bulky equipment
Things to arrange before your delivery
- Check the dimensions of the access routes to the surgery.
- Be aware of any steps, slopes or narrow corridors.
- Ensure that sufficient staff are available to assist with kerbside deliveries.
- Please let us know in advance of any specific access or installation requirements
The key stages of your delivery
Bespoke manufacturing in Canada
Your table is made to order by Elite in accordance with the options and specifications confirmed at the time of the quotation. Each configuration is prepared directly by the manufacturer to ensure it meets your requirements exactly.
Transatlantic air transit
Once ready, the table is shipped by air freight from Canada. This method of transport ensures fast and secure international delivery, which is well suited to this type of professional equipment.
Logistics control
Before final dispatch, the table undergoes a logistics check. This step ensures that the consignment meets all requirements and that it is safely transported to your practice.
Customs clearance
On arrival, the goods go through the necessary customs formalities. This stage enables the goods to be released for circulation before they are taken over by the logistics team at their destination.
Forwarding to your practice
Once checked, the table is dispatched to the specified delivery address. There are then two options available, depending on the level of service required: standard kerbside delivery or delivery with installation at your practice.
