Our care advice
Daily cleaning
To decontaminate the table, the synthetic surface can be cleaned using a spray of highly diluted Marseille soap, then wipe it dry.
We advise against spraying the product directly onto the table, and against spray the liquid onto the examination sheet, off the table, and then wipe the surface with the damp examination drape. This prevents the soap from being sprayed unnecessarily onto metal surfaces that are not designed to have soap left on them permanently, as this would cause corrosion of the steel.
ADDING VINYL PROTECTION
The vinyl protectors on the headrest, upper thoracic region and on the armrests are recommended as vinyl can be safely cleaned with soapy water. These protective covers are available either as removable covers or to be stapled underneath the panel, for each panel.
Care of the upholstery and natural leather
Please note that many sanitary products (such as SANYO) are not recommended as they can dry out the surface coating, which eventually makes it dry and brittle.
Using one examination sheet per patient is a bit of a hassle, but it is still a good compromise.
The best way to keep the materials in good condition is to clean them with a little water and then wipe them dry with the examination sheet. If necessary, use a little Marseille soap to remove the grease, then wipe dry.
Don’t forget to clean the armrests and the metal rod in the middle of the headrest cushions.
We are passing on the manufacturer’s advice to you.
Leather should be cleaned and vacuumed regularly to remove dirt and debris from the seams with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use NO SOAP or alkaline products on the leather, as these can cause the leather to dry out or crack. If necessary, use lukewarm soft water to clean specific areas and a soft cloth to dry.
Precautions : Avoid excessive rubbing. Keep a distance of 25 cm from heating appliances. A healthy level of humidity is good for leather.
Do not use : Harsh substances such as stain removers, cleaning solvents, turpentine, shoe polish, saddle soap, oils, varnish, abrasive cleaners, detergents, ammonia or any other type of chemical solution.
Your table has been designed to last. However, floor coverings are the first to suffer the ravages of time. We recommend using a plastic sheet to protect the floor covering.
You also have the option of restoring your table to its former glory by changing the tablecloth.
Please contact our support team directly; we will send you a quote for the replacement of the covers or assembled cushions.
It’s also a chance to change the colour if you’d like, and to enjoy the exclusive colours offered by our partner.
Maintenance of the metal parts and drops
Clean the metal part of the headrest using a hand brush made of synthetic fibre (supplied with your purchase) helps prevent limescale build-up.
If the steel has been damaged, you can touch it up using a metallic grey spray paint. In this case, clean the area to remove any soap residue and dry it. Spray a little paint into the «spray can cap» (away from the table) and pick up this liquid paint with a brush (round, fine and long-handled) to apply it in small strokes.
WHEN? The recommended lubrication interval stated in the instruction booklet is 3 months approximately daily use. It is also necessary to lubricate the drop as soon as it loses its smoothness or fluidity.
Insufficient lubrication can, for example, cause a drop to feel stiff or make an unusual noise.
HOW? To avoid soiling the cushions, it is advisable to protect the area with an examination sheet.
To make it easier to access, the use of a narrow brush with a long handle is preferable and makes it easier to access the vertical axis of each drop.
To access the drops easily, we recommend that you run them.
WITH WHAT? Vaseline or lithium grease are suitable, but there are also cans of medium-consistency grease available with pipette which are also suitable.
Please note that products that are too runny, such as «WD40» or similar, are not suitable. (liquid blackening).
WHICH DROPS? The cervical drop, upper thoracic drop, lower thoracic drop and pelvic drop must be lubricated.

CHEST DROP : voltage adjustment
This small panel requires «fine» adjustment. The voltage applied across its drop must be low.
Therefore, if you find that the drop mechanism does not engage, lift the pick-up and fully loosen the drop tension knob. The panel will drop naturally and you will be able to adjust the tension again.
You may encounter the same problem with the drop mechanism. Simply raise the pick-up, loosen the knob so that you can operate the drop mechanism, and then lower the pick-up again.
Generally speaking, the tension of the various drops is adjusted by turning slightly the dial (between a quarter-turn for the thoracic region and one full turn for the pelvic region).
